The name “Tenyu” in the restaurant's title means to be blessed with unexpected good fortune. It embodies the wish for guests to spend a delightful time through the combination of the chef’s skilled techniques and fresh ingredients that change with each season. Carefully selected Japanese wagyu beef and other choice ingredients from across Japan are prepared right before your eyes. The counter seats feature grand views and are designed to maintain privacy while allowing you to enjoy conversations with the chef.

About the Chef
Nobuko Kimura
She entered the culinary world in 2006 and subsequently pursued a career in teppanyaki. She currently serves as the chef at Teppan Tenyu, located within BELLUSTAR TOKYO, A Pan Pacific Hotel.
She says her role is “to bridge the distance between guests and producers and she does so by providing guests daily with “truly delicious meat” that rests on her meticulous eye for safety and quality that she developed through her direct interaction with producers and through emphasizing “pedigree and long term fatte ning” instead of brands and grades.
